The Water Garden Kit is a single zone filtration system for those looking for a small to medium sized pond. This pond kit comes in various sizes and has a maximum depth of 24 inches. A shelf around the perimeter of the pond will support aquatic plants that cover 30-40% of the water surface. Water gardens can support a small fish community. The unique single flow filtration system draws the top layer of water through a skimmer and then pumps the water to a biological waterfall filter. Maintenance is minimal and merely requires cleaning out the two internal filters in the skimmer on a weekly basis or as needed. The water fall filter only require cleaning twice a year usually in the spring and fall. Proper maintenance will allow for up to three years of use before a complete pond clean out is necessary. |
